The RIS department has created and deployed an RIS System Tray icon on all computers within the RIS support group. This will assist you when submitting a ticket to the RIS department or answering other questions that arise.
On new and existing computers, the RIS System Tray icon can be found by clicking on the arrow to show hidden system tray icons.
Drag the RIS Icon to allow it to be visible on your computer and right click to see the menu options.
Clicking on “Computer Info”
Will display the below, this information can be used when RIS contacts you asking for UK Asset Tag of your computer.
Clicking on “Submit Ticket”
Will open the default email program and auto populate the send to address with email@example.com and Subject line with “Issue:” to allow you to add additional information about your issue or question.
Clicking on “RIS FAQ Website”
Will open to RIS’ FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page which houses answers to assist you without having to submit a ticket.
