Keeping your Zoom client up to date is critical in order to protect you, your data, and any University of Kentucky computing resources. Beginning November 1, 2021, Zoom is requiring that all clients be updated to version 5.5 or newer in order to join any meeting. Without this update, customers will be unable to join Zoom meetings.
How to update your zoom client:
- Open and sign in to the Zoom desktop client for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
- Click your profile picture, then Check for Updates.
Zoom will download and install the latest version.
